Meridian Capital Marketplace - Creative

Meridian Capital Marketplace is a financial services company that specializes in offering commercialized lending products in the cannabis, retail, and construction industries.

We were tasked with conceptualizing, from website to print, a new brand identity for the company in the form of a brand refresh. Being a company that has had a long history in their local community, it was important to keep close to their “old” brand, and ensure nothing was lost in transition.

When we set out on our design journey, it was important to keep their old logo somewhat in the picture. We designed around the compass icon which they had previously, but brought a more modern look and feel to the icon itself. We tried fonts like Brandon Grotesque and Avenir, which are more common modern fonts, to bring a fresh look to their brand.
